Technical Sergeant Colin R. Trusedell

TSgt Colin Trusedell is the NCOIC of Starlifter, a Top 40 ensemble for the USAF Band of Mid America, stationed at Scott AFB. In coordination with the commander’s intent, he plans and executes musical missions all over the United States for a 7-member team. He also plays upright and electric bass for pop, jazz, and classical ensembles.

Colin has extensive touring experience with the U.S. Navy Band Northeast, U.S. Air Force Band of Mid America, and the U.S. Air Force Academy Band, performing nationally and internationally with appearances on NBC’s Today Show, Fox & Friends, the Montel Williams Show, and ESPN’s SportsNation. He has had the privilege to perform concerts with the Boston Pops Symphony Orchestra, Said El Artist, Bill Watrous, Tierney Sutton, Alan Vizzutti, and Dick Oats.

Colin has served his country while still maintaining a professional musical career in the civilian world. Trusedell’s award-winning recordings have been lauded in publications all over the world as he has steadily advanced his musical career in the United States and abroad. His projects have been featured in Downbeat, Jazz Times, All About Jazz, Bass Magazine, NoTreble, Bass Musician Magazine, Bass Quarterly, and ArtistXite.
