Master Sergeant Shelley Steepe Master Sergeant Shelley Steepe, a native of Michigan, serves as a clarinetist for the USAF Heritage of America Band. MSgt Steepe was awarded an Associate's degree from the Community College of the Air Force in 2012. Additionally, MSgt Steepe holds degrees in Music Performance and Music Education from Western Michigan University, which she received in 1992.Prior to enlisting in the Air Force she was a K-12 teacher in Plainwell and Buchanan, Michigan.MSgt Steepe has performed with The Temptations, Mnozil Brass, Trout Fishing in America, Phyllis Diller and for Fox News.
