Technical Sergeant Scott Dooley

Technical Sergeant Scott D. Dooley is a native of Hawkins, Texas, and performs on trumpet for the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band, stationed at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA.  Sergeant Dooley attended Northwestern State University Louisiana under the tutelage of professor of trumpet studies, Galindo Rodriguez, before entering the Air Force.
Prior to his assignment to the Heritage of America Band, Sergeant Dooley has held assignments with the US Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, CA, the US Air Force Band of Mid-America, Scott AFB, IL, and the US Air Forces in Europe Band, Ramstein AB, Germany.  During his career, Sergeant Dooley has performed with several world-class musicians and entertainers, such as Toni Tannille of the Captain and Tannille, trumpeter and recording artist Byron Stripling, and arranger Sammy Nestico. 
Sergeant Dooley has entertained audiences across the globe, and has performed in over 20 countries. He was deployed to southwest Asia with the group "Live Round" during the winter of 2008 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.  This 10-member popular music ensemble toured several nations during the 90-day deployment, from Djibouti, Africa to Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.  Their performances for coalition military and international audiences garnered rave reviews, and contributed significantly to the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) initiative to enhance stability throughout the region.
