Senior Airman Mark Morgan Airmen First Class Mark Morgan, a native of Pulaski, TN, plays trumpet for the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Tennessee Technological University and a Master's degree in Jazz Performance from SUNY Purchase College. His primary teachers include Ray Vega, Scott Wendholt, Steve Patrick, Charles Decker, Chris McCormick, and jazz trumpet legend, Jon Faddis. Prior to joining the Air Force in 2015, A1C Morgan worked as a freelance musician in New York City. He has performed for celebrities such as Donald Trump, Brooke Shields, Nigel Barker, numerous New York State congressmen and senators, and made a cameo appearance in a music video with Latino pop star Luis Miguel. A1C Morgan has also had the opportunity to perform at some of the country's most prestigious performance venues such as The Kennedy Center of Performing Arts, Madison Square Garden, The Chicago Theater, and the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City. In addition to an extensive local performance schedule, A1C Morgan has performed nationally on multiple musical theater tours to include Peter Pan and The Wizard of Oz.
