Staff Sergeant Alaina Shaw is a clarinetist with the USAF Band of Mid-America at Scott AFB, IL where she performs with the Concert Band, Ceremonial Band and Liberty Clarinet Quartet. Staff Sergeant Shaw has also served with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, CA. Originally from Fishers, IN, her Air Force career began in 2013.
SSgt Shaw is a 2007 graduate of the Eastman School of Music, Rochester, NY, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Music. In 2013, she received a Master's Degree from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD. Her teachers include Robert DiLutis, Reis McCullough, Jon Manasse, Ken Grant and Zöe Manning.
