Master Sergeant Coreen Ann Levin is an oboist with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, CA. Originally from Seattle, WA her Air Force career began in 1993 with the Band of the Air Force Reserve, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.
MSgt Levin is a graduate of The Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland., where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Oboe Performance. Additionally, she earned a Master's Degree in Oboe Performance and a Professional Studies Certificate from The Esther Boyer College of Music, Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her teachers include Joseph Turner, Cynthia Koledo DeAlmeida, Jonathan Blumenfeld and Richard Woodhams. Master Sergeant Levin was awarded and served for three years as the English horn player with the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra and was the oboist for The Mantovani Orchestra prior to joining the United States Air Force.
