Technical Sergeant Daniel Shifren is a bassoonist with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, CA. He also serves as the unit’s Resource Advisor. Originally from Los Angeles, California his Air Force career began in 2014.
Technical Sergeant Daniel Shifren is a 2010 graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, where he earned a bachelor’s of music degree. In 2012 he received a Masters of Music from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. His teachers include John Campbell, Nancy Goeres, and William Winstead.
