Staff Sergeant Casey Dodd is a Percussionist with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, CA. Originally from Satellite Beach, Florida, his Air Force career began in 2016.
Sgt Dodd is a 2008 graduate of the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida where he earned a degree in Percussion Performance. His teachers included Charlotte Mabrey and Danny Gottlieb. Sgt Dodd performed with the University of North Florida's Jazz Ensemble One in a two-week concert tour of China and also performed with the University of North Florida Chorale in a two-week concert tour of Portugal. He was also a featured soloist with the University of North Florida Wind Ensemble during their performance at Carnegie Hall in 2008. After college, he performed in a jazz quartet for Celebrity Cruises and was the primary drummer/percussionist for the Cocoa Village Playhouse in Cocoa, Florida.
