Tech Sergeant Christopher H. Brown Technical Sgt. Christopher H. Brown is a French hornist with the Ceremonial Brass, The United States Air Force Band, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C. Originally from Columbus, Georgia, his career in the Air Force began in 2003.Brown studied at The University of Georgia (UGA) in Athens from 1997 to 2003, earning a Bachelor of Music degree in education and a Master of Music degree in performance. While there, he won the UGA Symphony Orchestra's Concerto Competition in 2000, and with the Odyssey Brass Quintet, garnered second place at the UGA Brass Quintet Competition in 1999. Brown has performed with the Disney Grammy Collegiate Orchestra and studied with Dr. Jean Martin-Williams.Air Force career highlights include performing for three U.S. Presidents and many foreign dignitaries, including Queen Elizabeth II and Pope Benedict XVI.
