Master Sgt. Mark David Dorosheff is a violinist with the Air Force Strings, The United States Air Force Band, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C. Originally from Herndon, Virginia, his career in the Air Force began in 2004. Dorosheff currently serves as the non commissioned officer in charge of contracting.
Dorosheff graduated from Duquesne University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance. He continued his education at Bowling Green State University, earning a Master of Music degree in 2001.
Prior to joining the Air Force, Dorosheff participated in the Sewanee Summer Music Festival in Tennessee, the Chatauqua Summer Music Festival in New York and the Aims International Music Festival in Graz, Austria. Dorosheff has performed with the New World Symphony, Lima Symphony, Fort Wayne Philharmonic and the Maryland Symphony.
Highlights from Dorosheff's Air Force Career include the 56th Presidential Inaugural Concert on the National Mall, and performing as soloist for the 2015 Strings tour of New England.
