MSgt Jennifer Tersero

Master Sgt. Jennifer Moore Tersero is a flutist with the Concert Band, The United States Air Force Band, Washington, D.C. Originally from Oxford, Michigan, her career in the Air Force began in 1997 as a flutist with the U.S. Air Force Band of Liberty, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts. From 1991 to 2001, Tersero served overseas as a member of the USAFE Band in Germany. In 2001, she became a member of The U.S. Air Force Band.

A 1994 graduate of Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, Tersero earned a Bachelor of Music degree in flute performance. She received the Distinguished Graduate Award for 1994, and was also winner of the Concerto Competition from 1991 to 1993. She then attended Western Michigan University on a full-time assistantship where she was a member of the Graduate Wind Quintet and the Battle Creek Orchestra. She graduated in 1996 with a Master of Music degree. Tersero has also earned a Master of Science degree in education from Old Dominion University. Her teachers include Ervin Monroe, Christine Smith and Aaron Goldman.
