SMSgt Philip E. Krzywicki

Senior Master Sgt. Philip E. Krzywicki is a French hornist with the Concert Band, The United States Air Force Band, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C. Originally from Philadelphia, his Air Force career began in 1995.

A graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana, Krzywicki earned a Bachelor of Music degree in horn performance in 1986. He also worked toward a Master of Music degree in performance from Temple University. Additionally, Krzywicki studied abroad at the Austro-American Institute in Vienna, Austria. His teachers include Philadelphia Orchestra members Randy Gardner and Nolan Miller, and Michael Hatfield at the Aspen Music Festival and Indiana University.

Before joining the Air Force, Krzywicki performed regularly with the Reading Symphony, Delaware Symphony, Harrisburg Symphony, Opera Festival of New Jersey, Concerto Soloists Chamber Orchestra and the Opera Company of Philadelphia.
