Chief Master Sergeant Dennis W. Hoffmann

Chief Master Sgt. Dennis W. Hoffmann is the Chief of Production for The United States Air Force Band, Washington, D.C. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he joined the Band in 2000 as a percussionist with the Singing Sergeants.

A graduate of Duquesne University, Chief Hoffmann received a Bachelor of Music degree in percussion performance, summa cum laude. During his undergraduate studies, he received the Strubb Merit Award and an honorable mention at the Women's Advisory Board Scholarship competition. Additionally, he performed with Tempus Fugit Percussion Ensemble and the Duquesne University symphony orchestra, jazz ensemble, percussion ensemble, contemporary ensemble and wind symphony.

His former teachers include Andrew Reamer, Stanley Leonard and Lenny Rogers. Hoffmann's professional affiliations include membership in the Percussive Arts Society and Chamber Music America. He has performed with notable artists such as Leigh Howard Stevens, Michael Burritt, Steve Houghton and Stanley Leonard.
