Master Sergeant Kaz Kruszewski

Master Sgt. Kaz Kruszewski is a bass trombonist with the Ceremonial Brass, The United States Air Force Band, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C. Originally from Skokie, Illinois, he began his Air Force career in 2004 with the U.S. Air Force Band of Flight, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. In addition to performing in seven ensembles, he was a member of Hot Brass, the first Air Force brass ensemble to deploy to Southwest Asia in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. His career in the Ceremonial Brass began in 2015.

He has performed with the Cleveland Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra, St. Louis Symphony, New York City Ballet, Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Dayton Philharmonic and the Vancouver Symphony. Additionally, he has shared the stage with such artists as Ben Folds, Melissa Etheridge, the Temptations, Eddie Daniels, Bobby Shew, Mnozil Brass and Vince DiMartino.

A graduate of Indiana University, Kruszewski received a Bachelor of Science degree in music and mathematics.
