Master Sergeant Brian C. Stiles

Master Sgt. Brian Christopher Stiles is a trumpeter with the Ceremonial Brass, The United States Air Force Band, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C. Originally from Eagle River, Alaska, his career in the Air Force began in 2003.

A graduate of the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho, Stiles earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree in 1997. He then went on to study at the Yale School of Music, earning a Master of Music degree in trumpet performance in 2000. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in brass pedagogy from Indiana University in Bloomington. Stiles has performed with the Anchorage Symphony Orchestra, Yale Philharmonic, Yale Symphony Orchestra and the Indiana University Wind Ensemble. His former teachers include John Rommel, Bill Adam and Allan Dean.
