SMSgt Julianna Evans

Senior Master Sgt. Julianna Evans is a clarinetist with the Concert Band, The United States Air Force Band, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C. A native of Vienna, Virginia, she joined the Air Force in January 2000.

A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, Evans received a Bachelor of Music degree, magna cum laude in 1997. During her undergraduate studies, she was the winner of the VCU Concerto Competition. She earned a Master of Music degree in 1999 from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Before joining the Air Force, Evans participated in the Cincinnati Chamber Arts Festival and the Aspen Music Festival. Additionally, she was a semi-finalist in the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition. Her former teachers include Ken Lee, Dr. Charles West, Ted Oien, Dan Silver and Ronald deKant.
