SMSgt David Rosengaft

Senior Master Sergeant David Rosengaft is a trombonist with the Ceremonial Brass, The United States Air Force Band, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C. Originally from Richmond, Virginia, he began his Air Force career in 2009.

Rosengaft attended Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas. While at SMU, he performed with the Dallas Symphony and at The International Festival-Institute at Round Top. He was featured at the 2008 Eastern Trombone Workshop performing with the SMU Trombone Quartet. Rosengaft has also performed with the McLean Orchestra, Washington National Opera and Festival Hill Orchestra. His principal teachers include John Kitzman and Ron Baedke.

Air Force career highlights include a performance at a 2011 New York Mets game, an appearance on NBC's TODAY and soloing with the trombone quartet during the Concert Band's 2011 national tour and compact disc recording.
