Master Sergeant Stacey Holliday

Master Sgt. Stacey Holliday is an alto vocalist with the Singing Sergeants. Originally from Warner Robins, Georgia, she joined The United States Air Force Band in 2016.

Sgt. Holliday has performed extensively both within the United States and abroad, with performances at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, and across the United States. Her solo appearances include with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and she has also recorded with the Air Force Band’s Max Impact in Nashville.

Additional Air Force Band career highlights include performing with Cynthia Erivo, Renee Fleming, Denyce Graves, Lee Greenwood with Home Free, and in honor of President George H. W. Bush at his state funeral.

Prior to enlisting, Sgt. Holliday spent many years as a music educator. First, as an assistant professor of piano at Claflin University in South Carolina, followed by four years as the music teacher at Holy Nativity Episcopal School in Panama City, Florida.

Sgt. Holliday earned a Bachelors of Music degree in piano performance from Furman University in Greenville, SC, participating in the Furman Singers and the Chamber Choir. She competed as both a vocal soloist and a piano soloist, earning several performances with the Furman Symphony Orchestra. She then earned a Masters of Music in piano performance from the University of South Carolina in Columbia and was the winner of University of South Carolina Piano Concerto Competition.
