Senior Master Sgt. Jake McCray is the Superintendent of Resources for The United States Air Force Band, Washington, D.C. Originally from Fairfax, Virginia, he joined the Band in 1998 as a saxophonist with the Concert Band.
Sgt. McCray manages a team of 23 band members who are responsible for the tactical execution of all budgetary matters, including travel, supplies, training, and marketing. Prior to this position, he was the Superintendent of Supply where he oversaw all supply, logistics and facilities operations for the unit.
A graduate of George Mason University, Sgt. McCray received a Bachelor of Arts degree in music in 2007.
