TSgt Samuel Allen

Technical Sgt. Samuel Allen is a tenor vocalist with the Singing Sergeants, The United States Air Force Band, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C. A native of Sterling, Virginia, his career in the Air Force began in January 2020.

Allen earned his Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA where he studied under Professor Kevin McMillan. Past solo work includes Mozart's Requiem, Handel's Messiah, and Sam Kaplan in Kurt Weill's Street Scene. He was selected as a live audition finalist for world-renowned men's choirs Chanticleer and Cantus as well as for the Wolftrap Opera Young Artist Program.

Prior to joining the Singing Sergeants, Allen was teaching privately and performing in the D.C area where he is still performing weekly with the Professional Choir of Washington National Cathedral.
