Tech Sergeant Shawn Hanlon

TSgt Hanlon is currently a pianist at the USAF Band of the Pacific, Yokota Air Base, Japan. Responsibilities include performing with Pacific Showcase jazz ensemble and Final Approach popular music group, Music Director of Final Approach, and assisting the Productions and Social Media shop.
TSgt Hanlon entered the Air Force in February 2012, graduating Basic Military Training in April 2012.  Prior to his current position, he was assigned to the USAF Academy Band at Peterson Air Force Base, where he performed with the Falconaires jazz band, and Pegasus pop/rock group.  He also had the opportunity to deploy with Pegasus to Air Force Central Command in late 2014. 
Some highlights of TSgt Hanlon’s career so far include performing on a local radio station in Afghanistan, entertaining North Korean refugees, and playing live on Japanese television for “Nodojiman The World”.
