Senior Airman Drew Saucier-Pritchard

Senior Airman Drew Pritchard plays trumpet with the United States Air Force Band of Mid-America. He performs with the Concert Band, Ceremonial Band, and the Shades of Blue Jazz Ensemble. He joined the band in March 2019.

 

Originally from Pensacola, FL, Senior Airman Pritchard finished his Bachelor of Music Performance degree at the University of South Alabama in 2015. He then went on to do graduate studies at Indiana University Jacobs School Music. He served as principal trumpet for the Jacobs School of Music Concert Orchestra, performed in the Brent Wallarab and John Fedchock Big Bands, and was a featured soloist in the IU New Music Ensemble. As an active freelance musician, he has had the opportunity to perform with the Mobile Symphony Orchestra and the Mobile Big Band Society.

Airman Pritchard has had the pleasure of studying with Michael Glenn, Peter Wood, Will Petersen, Joey Tartell, and John Rommel. He previously served as an instrument repair technician at Andy’s Music in Mobile where he trained under Donald Morris.
