TSgt Technical Sgt. Manuel Collazo-Llantin

Technical Sgt. Manuel A. Collazo-Llantin is a french hornist with the Concert Band, The United States Air Force Band, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C. A native of San German, Puerto Rico, his career in the Air Force began in 2011 with an assignment to The Band of the U.S. Air Force Reserve at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. He then played with The U.S. Air Force Academy Band, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado before joining the band in Washington, D.C.

Collazo-Llantin has performed with the Puerto Rico Symphony, Atlanta Lyric Opera, Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Denver Brass, and the Rocky Mountain Horn Club. He earned a Bachelor of Music degree from The Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico in 2007 where he studied with Luis Arroyo, Benito Diaz, and Rafael E. Irizarry. He then earned a Master of Music degree in 2010 from Georgia State University where he studied with Jay Hanselman.
