A1C Julie Keough-Mishler

Airman First Class Julie Keough-Mishler is the lead vocalist and plays acoustic guitar and ukulele for Wild Blue Country. She began her Air Force career in November of 2018, when she was assigned to the USAF Academy Band in Colorado Springs.

 

Hailing from Waldorf MD, Julie graduated from Thomas Stone High School in 1998 and earned her B.A. in Music & Theatre at McDaniel College, where she was the third person in her family to earn the Esther Smith award for excellence in the Fine Arts, which she accomplished in 2002. From there she has performed all over the world in cities such as New York, NY, Washington, D.C, Budapest, Hungary, Phoenix, AZ, Pigeon Forge, TN, and aboard Celebrity's GTS Summit, before making Lancaster, PA, her home for 10 years.

 

In Lancaster, she appeared for 8 consecutive seasons at American Music Theater, at the Fulton Opera House, in the Ware Center Cabaret Series in her original show ‘Crossover,’ at Dutch Apple Theatre, in the choir at St. James Episcopal Church, and flying solo with her guitar at various small venues. Since joining Wild Blue Country, Julie has performed with them on Sirius XM Radio and Fox and Friends, among other venues around the U.S.
