SSgt Craig Flentge

Staff Sergeant Craig A. Flentge joined the United States Air Force Academy Band, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado, in 2017. He currently performs as a trombonist with Marching Band, Concert Band and the Falconaires. He also serves as Falconaires Tour Manager, Communications NCO and Organizational Defense Travel Administrator.

 

Originally hailing from Brenham, Texas, Staff Sergeant Flentge completed Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Music Performance from the University of North Texas. Sergeant Flentge has been the recipient of many musical awards including winning the 2010 International Trombone Association’s Donald Yaxley Solo Bass Trombone Competition. Sergeant Flentge’s former teachers include John McCroskey, formerly of the Houston Symphony, Tony Baker, Vern Kagarice and Jan Kagarice.
