SrA Edward Knoeckel


Airman First Class Knoeckel is a pianist with the United States Air Force Band of the West. He grew up in central Connecticut, and has enjoyed working as an educator, composer and performer in the secondary school system as well as at the university level where he has designed and taught courses in music history and film music. He is currently working on his doctoral dissertation at George Mason University focused on film music analysis in the scores of Nino Rota. He is married with three children and enjoys traveling and learning where the best local dishes are.
