MSgt John Marsh


Master Sergeant John Marsh is a native of Columbus, Ohio. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from Capital University and a Master's degree in Music from Florida State University. He also pursued Doctoral studies at the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM). Sergeant Marsh enlisted with the US Air Force in 2004 and joined the Band of the West at Lackland AFB, TX. While there, Sergeant Marsh acted as the Producer for Holiday in Blue 2010, for which he conceptualized and organized the first Joint Base San Antonio Volunteer Chorus, made up of Active Duty, Guard, Reserve, and Civilian members of all branches in the San Antonio community. In February of 2012 he transferred to his current assignment with the US Air Forces in Europe Band. Sergeant Marsh has performed on tenor and bass Trombone, as well as euphonium and herald trumpet. His teachers include Dr. Scott Moore, Dr. Thomas Zugger, Dr. John Drew, David Vining, and Debbie Taylor.
