TSgt Ben Huseby

Technical Sergeant Ben Huseby is a Trombonist with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, CA.  Originally a native of Powers Lake, North Dakota, his Air Force career began in 2011.  

TSgt Huseby is a 2007 graduate of Minot State University, ND, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education, graduating Cum Laude.  In 2010, he received a Master’s Degree in Music Education and Bass Trombone from Indiana University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.  In 2007, he won the Concerto competition at Minot State University and was a semi-finalist for the 2011 Zellmer-Minnesota Orchestra competition.  His primary teachers have been M. Dee Stewart, Carl Lenthe, Joseph Alme, and Dr. Shelley Smithwick.
