MSgt Christin Foley

Master Sergeant Christin Foley is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1998 and a Master in Music Jazz Performance from Texas State University, San Marcos, Texas in 2016. In April 2002, Master Sergeant Foley joined the Air Force and was assigned to the USAF Band, Washington, D.C. There, she performed for the President of the United States George W. Bush, the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Defense, the Director of National Intelligence and National Security, the director of National Geospatial-Intelligence, the Secretary of the Air Force, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, and the Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force.  She was a featured vocalist with nationally renowned artists Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers, Kool & the Gang, Rita Coolidge, and George Duke. 

Prior to her current assignment at the Band of the West, Sergeant Foley served three years in the Air National Guard Band of the Central States, Bridgeton, Missouri and recently was assigned in a special duty as the Administrative Assistant to the Air Education and Training Command Command Chief at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph. Sergeant Foley has held several positions including Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of Supply, Commander’s Support Element, and the Band of the West’s “Top Flight” Rock Band, the Security Manger, Assistant Director of Operations and Unit Deployment Manager.  As a member of the Band of the West, she has sung the National Anthem for various military and civic events, including the National Basketball, Women’s National Basketball, Professional Bull Riding, and San Antonio Missions Baseball Associations.  

Throughout her career, she has deployed in support of AF Southern Command, Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Inherent Resolve, and Operation Freedom Sentinel.
