MSgt Amy Lynch

Master Sergeant Amy Lynch, a native of Bagley, Wisconsin, serves as a clarinetist for the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band. MSgt Lynch earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Performance from Lawrence University, Appleton, Wisconsin, and a Master of Music degree in Performance from Arizona State University. Her teachers include Dan Sparks and Robert Spring.
 
During her study at Lawrence University, MSgt Lynch was one of three Commencement Concert soloists with the LU orchestra upon her graduation from the Conservatory. While at Arizona State University, she performed as a member of the university's symphonic band, chamber orchestra, and the Lyric Opera Theatre orchestra. MSgt Lynch has also been a featured soloist with the Heritage of America Band during two community relations tours. She has performed as a member of the Concert Band, Ceremonial Band, American Clarinet Quartet, Tradewinds Woodwind Quintet, the Heritage Aire Celtic Ensemble and the New Horizons Clarinet Quartet.
While serving in the USAF Heartland of America Band, MSgt Lynch performed at the Eastern Nebraska Veteran's Home and for the POW MIA Remembrance Ceremony at the Veterans Administration Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Performing for veterans and hearing their stories of service and sacrifice after each performance is one of her favorite parts of her job.
