Members of the U.S. Air Force Band maintain a fast operational tempo during the summer months, with groups rotating in and out of leave cycles. Band members often assist outside their traditional roles, performing as substitutes in other ensembles, supporting funerals at Arlington National Cemetery, or performing double duty as both a musician and narrator.
