U.S. Army Band’s “Army Blues” Takes the Stage

The Army Blues, a component of the United States Army Band in Washington, DC, performs during the 2009 Joint Service Jazz Festival. The Army Blues (stationed nearby at Fort Myer in Virginia) played an awesome set – highlighting the wonderful soloists that fill each section. The event, hosted by the USAF Band’s Airmen of Note, took place at the Carter Barron Amphitheatre on August 16th. The Navy Commodores were also featured on the program.
