Master Sgt. Katie Edelman is a soprano vocalist with the Singing Sergeants. A native of Atlanta, GA, her Air Force career began in 2018.
Prior to joining the Air Force, Sgt. Edelman had a varied freelance career in the National Capitol Region. She sang with the Folger Consort, Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra, Reston Chorale, Great Noise Ensemble, The Washington Chorus, Capitol City Opera, The National Cathedral, and The Bellingham Festival of Music. She also had the honor of performing as a soloist for the funeral of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.
Sgt. Edelman earned her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in vocal performance from Georgia State University and her Doctorate of Musical Arts in opera performance from the Maryland Opera Studio at University of Maryland.
