Staff Sergeant Jacob Wright serves as a saxophonist in the United States Air Force Band of the Pacific, where he performs with Pacific Showcase and the Saxophone Quartet. Originally from Llano, Texas, Sergeant Wright attended Tarleton State University where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a minor in history.
Prior to joining the active duty Air Force, SSgt Wright worked as a music teacher and freelance musician in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Also during this time he served as a member of the Air National Guard Band of the Southwest stationed at Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base. In his spare time SSgt Wright enjoys fishing, reading, and keeping up with current events.
