SrA Joseph Hudson


Senior Airman (SrA) Joseph Hudson is a trombonist in the United States Air Force (USAF) Heritage of America Concert Band and Rhythm in Blue jazz ensemble. Since joining the Air Force in 2016, SrA Hudson has been blessed to perform in Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Micronesia, Palau, Hawaii, and various states throughout the western and southwestern United States.   
SrA Hudson is a native of Lexington, KY. He was a New Horizons Fellow at the Aspen Music Festival (Aspen, CO) in 2012 and 2013 and a member of the National Repertory Orchestra (Boulder, CO) in 2014. SrA Hudson is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, where he received his Bachelor of Music degree in 2014 under the tutelage of Per Brevig (former principal trombone Metropolitan Opera Orchestra). In 2016, SrA Hudson received a Master of Music degree from the University of Kentucky, where he studied with Brad Kerns.
