USAF Band of the Pacific- Hawaii says Aloha to MSgt Daryl Yager Published Feb. 2, 2011 By TSgt Joshua Fedele HQ PACAF/PAB 14 December 2010 -- The USAF Band of the Pacific lost one of it's longest tenured musicians to retirement in a ceremony on Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam. MSgt Daryl Yager retired after 26 years of honorable service in the USAF. While at Hickam, since 2003, he served as the piano/ keyboard player in the protocol combo, as solo musician, and in the band's premier ensemble, Hana Hou. He also served as the Music Director for Hana Hou, the unit's NCOIC, Client Support Administrator, and music arranger. MSgt Yager's contributions were key to the band's performances for multiple foreign dignitaries, the PACAF Band's facility rennovations, and three CD recording projects. MSgt Daryl Yager left a legacy unmatched by anyone soon to come, ALOHA!
