The CENTAF Band's "Live Round" performed for over 500 coalition troops at Camp Lemonier, Djibouti. The band consists of active-duty Air Force professional musicians from The USAF Academy Band and the USAF Band of Mid-America.

Troops stationed at Camp Lemonier work tirelessly to prevent conflict, promote regional stability and protect coalition interests. The performance gave them an opportunity to relax for a few hours and enjoy some music an entertainment from home. The band performed Rock-n-Roll favorites from the 70s through today's hits. For the audience of mostly sailors of the US Navy, the favorites were Christina Aguilera's "Ain't No Other Man" and Lynard Skynard's "Sweet Home Alabama." This performance was one of nine presented by "Live Round" during five-day stay at Camp Lemonier. The group appeared in Community Development Centers throughout Djibouti City as well as travelling to the small village of Chebelly where every resident of the village attended the performance. These performances, in cooperation with Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa and the US Embassy enhance the growing good will between coalition nations and the nation of Djibouti. The band closed most of their performances with Sister Sledge's "We Are Family" The Djiboutian audiences joined in singing and US Ambassador Stuart Symington, speaking in French, passionately spoke of our shared heritage as members of the human family.
