Technical Sergeant Technical Sergeant Brian McNally

Technical Sergeant Brian McNally is the lead guitar player and musical director for High Altitude, the rock band component within the Air National Guard Band of the Northeast. Originally from Marlton NJ, Sgt McNally enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2002 at the age of 22, and has served in several different units and career fields prior to coming to the Air National Guard Band of the Northeast.  Specifically, he was a Fuels System Specialist with the 3rd Component Maintenance Squadron in Elmendorf, Alaska and was also a Computer Systems Operator Craftsman with the 267th Combat Communications Squadron at Otis AFB, Buzzards Bay MA.

Sergeant McNally graduated from Cherokee High School in Marlton, NJ.  He studied music at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.  He has performed with several famous musicians including Kasim Sulton, Mark Alexander, Nils Lofgren, Andy York, Mike Visceglia, Anton Fig, and Mark Rivera among others.  

Sergeant McNally currently resides in Marlton, NJ with his wife and two children.  Sergeant McNally is the owner/teacher of Duke's Bike Music Studio in Marlton, NJ.  When not playing or teaching music, Sergeant McNally is the events coordinator for ChemoClothes of Somerdale, NJ, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to working with individuals battling cancer. 

Sergeant McNally was the Airman of the Year for the 102nd Fighter Wing in 2005.  Additional awards and decorations include the Air Force Commendation medal with one oak leaf cluster, Air Force Achievement medal , the Meritorious Unit Award,  Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with four oak leaf clusters, the Air Force Good Conduct Medal, the Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Defense Service Medal, the Air Force Overseas Ribbon (Short), the Air Force Overseas Ribbon (long), the Air Force Expeditionary Service Ribbon with Gold Border, the Armed Forces Reserve Medal with 3 "M" devices, and the Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon.
