Staff Sergeant (SSgt) Lee Jarzembak is a tubist with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, CA. He also serves as the unit's webmaster and media representative for the Travis Brass. Originally from Maypearl, Texas, his Air Force career began in 2015.
SSgt Jarzembak is a 2010 graduate of Texas Tech University where he earned a bachelor's degree in music performance. In 2012, he earned his master's degree from the Juilliard School, and in 2015 he earned a diploma in orchestral performance from the Curtis Institute of Music. His teachers include Craig Knox, Carol Jantsch, Paul Krzywicki, Alan Baer, David Fedderly and Kevin Wass. SrA Jarzembak was the winner of the 2014 Leonard Falcone International Tuba Competition.
