Chief Master Sergeant Jennifer D. Cox

Chief Master Sgt. Jennifer D. Cox is the Flight Chief of Max Impact and the Singing Sergeants as well as the Chief of Personnel and Readiness for The United States Air Force Band, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C. She is responsible to the commander for force development, administrative oversight and readiness for the 183-member unit. Prior to her current assignment, Chief Cox served as the section chief of audio and visual recording production for the Band. Originally from Phelps, New York, Chief Cox’s career in the Air Force began in 1996.

Before joining the Air Force, she earned a Bachelor of Music Education degree from George Mason University in 1995.

Career highlights include performances as featured soloist on a concert tour and recording, working with the commander to produce over 20 audiovisual products and performing for the dedication of the Pentagon 9/11 Memorial. Chief Cox has also been a volunteer victim advocate for the JBAB SAPR program for six years, holds D-SAACP certification, and is currently working on a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling.
