Technical Sgt. Andrew Tinch is the guitarist with the Singing Sergeants. Originally from Panama City, Florida, his career in the Air Force began in 2023.

Before joining the Air Force, Sgt. Tinch was a freelance guitarist in Panama City and throughout South Florida. He has performed with renowned trumpeter and Guggenheim Fellow, Etienne Charles, Grammy award-winning djembe artist, Weedie Braimah, internationally acclaimed steel pannist, Leon Foster Thomas, and Grammy award-winning bassist, Steve Gilmore.

Sgt. Tinch holds a Bachelor of Music degree in jazz guitar performance with a minor in music business and entertainment industries from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. He has studied with John Hart, Dr. Stephen Guerra, and Etienne Charles.
