SSgt Josiah Joyce is a guitarist and Operations Representative at the Band of Mid America, Scott AFB. He organizes tours and performances for the pop/rock group Starlifter. He also performs on the guitar in a wide variety of genres and settings.

SSgt Joyce grew up in an Air Force family and moved between a wide variety of locations. He earned his bachelor’s degree in jazz performance at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2013. He entered basic military training on Dec 1^st, 2015. He has been stationed at Scott AFB since leaving basic training.

SSgt Joyce has served as a band member on 2 deployments to the Middle East and Central Asia and has performed in 14 different nations.
