The Air National Guard Band of the Northeast once again had the honor of marching in the New York City Veteran's Day Parade on Saturday, November 11, 2017.

The ceremonial band led the parade up 5th Avenue to the applause and delight of thousands of spectators.

Joining the band this year were members of the Air Force Heritage of America Band, bringing together some of the Air Force's finest musicians to make a parade block that was more than 60 members strong.

Across the globe, active duty and reserve service members work side-by-side, seamlessly integrated, to ensure mission success whenever and wherever needed. The cooperation and mutual respect of the Air Force's active duty and Air National Guard band members epitomizes this total force concept.

This was the Band of the Northeast's third parade in New York City in the last three years. Previous appearances included the 2015 Saint Patrick's Day Parade and the 2015 Veteran's Day Parade.

The 38-member unit is comprised of several performance ensembles including the concert band, ceremonial band and four small ensembles.
