Keiko Matsui, titled the “first lady” of contemporary jazz, performs “Deep Blue” from her new album with the United States Air Force Band during the 47th Annual Guest Artist Series at Daughters of American Revolution Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C., on Feb. 26. Currently releasing her 23rd album, Matsui has numerous highly-acclaimed recordings to her credit including “Saphire” and “Deep Blue” which reached number one on Billboard’s Contemporary Jazz chart recently.
