Chief Master Sergeant Donald Naumann

Chief Master Sergeant Donald Naumann is a Euphoniumist and Band Manager with the Air National Guard Band of the Northeast. Originally from Syracuse, New York, his Air Force career began in 1984.

Sergeant Naumann graduated from Cicero High School in Cicero, New York. He holds an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences and Music from Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Syracuse University, and a Master of Musical Arts Degree in Trombone from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Sergeant Naumann enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1984, joining the Air Force Band of the East at McGuire AFB, New Jersey. He was a member of the United States Air Force Band, Bolling AFB, Washington D.C., where he played with the Ceremonial Brass. He transferred to the Air National Guard, and became a member of the Air National Guard Band of the Northeast. He is a graduate of the Noncommissioned Officer Leadership Correspondence course, the Senior Noncommissioned Officer Correspondence Course, and the First Sergeant Academy at Maxwell AFB, Alabama.

Sergeant Naumann's awards and decorations include the Air Force Achievement Medal with two oak leaf clusters, the Air Force Commendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters, the Meritorious Service Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal.
